The Pharaoh is back from the dead...once more. Still technically a spirit that does not age (he does not need to eat, drink nor sleep though he is able too), he has a physical form on Tomodachi Island. He was deemed as 'dangerous' upon his arrival, and was given an escape: to join Omega Five and use his powers for 'good'. Or, something like that. Yet another adjustment he will have to get used to.[break][break]

Though he always had experience with addressing people (he had to learn as a Pharaoh), Atem was taught the importance of true friendship by Yugi, and ever since he has become a lot kinder to anyone that takes the time out of their day to talk to him. However, he would still consider himself an introvert at heart, much to other's surprise. He can be reserved, this coupled with his regal way of carrying himself could prompt others to describe him as 'mysterious'. Atem is well-mannered but it is difficult to get to know him on more than a base line level without time and effort. He tends to stray away from being an open book, as it were. [break][break]

Atem is a lawful spirit, but he also believes competition is healthy. There have been many times where he has brought it upon himself to deliver justice to criminals, being a merciless vigilante at one point. The days of 'merciless' are far behind him, but that doesn't mean he will sit by and watch when another commits evil. Apart from true enemies (evil-doers), the Pharaoh once had a fully formed rivalry with a man called Seto Kaiba. This appeared one-sided, but Atem found a joy in indulging it and Kaiba did challenge him on many occasion. He would not be against finding this type of 'opponent' again.[break][break]

He does not entertain the idea of romance for more than a few moments. To him, it is something out of his reach. The opportunity to find romance died when he did, after all, who wants to date a ghost? This is not to say that he is averse to it, though. Atem has always wondered what it would be like to have a partner in that way, but since he does not think it is possible, he rarely pays it any mind. If he were to develop feelings for someone it would likely be stifled and he would initially refuse to confess it.

Sonic's the name, speed's his game! The blue hero is back in action on Tomodachi Island...although at first he caused a headache for Omega Five, after some negotiation (and finding out that taking off and trying to dash across the sea only had him running straight back to the same shore) he reluctantly settled into an apartment and began work as a simple spiky delivery boy. Maybe he's the one that delivered your character's favorite anime merch? Or something to that effect.[break][break]

He's a friend to everyone! Sonic is a hedgehog with a huge heart, so if you need any help, he's a dependable guy to turn to. Humans, or those that used to be human, likely don't take his appearance very seriously (unless they're used to animals like him in their own world), but despite this he has no problem with befriending them either as long as they don't insult or disrespect him openly. Treat others the way you want to be treated, and all that. His heroic ways haven't stopped and still run through every part of his nature, although since he is not part of Omega Five he's likely to become something more of a vigilante than a recognized hero.[break][break]

Any Eggheads that need crackin' fall under this category. Although generally more mature and thoughtful than people might think at first glance, there's no denying that Sonic has a consistent streak of being short-tempered if anyone picks on his more sensitive spots. He doesn't consider himself anywhere near as bad as Knuckles if you were to ask, though. He hates lies and anything he deems to be unjust (he is a Neutral Good character, with some leaning towards Chaotic Good). Sonic tries his best to stay cool under pressure no matter the threat, and because of his experience he typically succeeds. But he's still young, and there are many chinks in his spiky armor. If you can find a weak point and exploit it, Sonic's cheery and optimistic attitude becomes easy to tumble. However, it should be noted he still has an extremely solid moral center and would never harm anyone fatally on purpose. [break][break]

Born in a closed off world ravaged by titans, Eren spent his whole life fighting for freedom...and then got sent here. He has had a difficult time adjusting to the Utopian outlook that Tomodachi Island holds. He does his part, and now hold a steady job as a waiter as he goes through extensive therapy which he doesn't particularly enjoy. Slowly but surely, he is adjusting and relaxing...okay, maybe not relaxing, it's not in his nature -- so just adjusting. [break][break]

He was hard enough to befriend back in his home universe, but here, it's just like pulling teeth. Painful. Eren undoubtedly has an understanding and reliable side, and he isn't completely oblivious to people's feelings and can pick up on some social cues...however, it isn't guaranteed he won't just flat out ignore them. This has gotten better since he works as a waiter, defaulting him to become better at 'customer service'. He's still almost gotten fired over picking fights with agitated customers. Eren is introspective and aware of his faults. At nineteen, it's safe to say he has matured and mellowed out somewhat, but even that doesn't stop his face from being the way it is. Truthfully, it did get stuck that way. Even when he's not being outright rude or blunt, he can appear cold or otherwise aloof. One exception to this is kids, he tends to default to 'big brother mode' around them and try his best to appease them. He makes a good baby-sitter, surprisingly.[break][break]

Bring. It. On. The blood that runs through him is always on fire, itching for a fight. This isn't to say he's outright antagonistic as that would be a stretch. Eren has a moral center, but let's just say he's not nearly as forgiving as other 'goody two-shoes' may be. Honestly put, he believes criminals who feed off of the weak deserve to die. And he doesn't mind being the one to kill them. This has been a deep rooted belief in him since his birth and it's likely not going to come out any time soon. Pick a fight with him if you must, it's not difficult, but you are advised to take caution! He won't lose it right away, he has some semblance of patience...but it isn't much. Frenemies are still a rare possibility as even though he used to fight with Jean a lot, he doesn't outright ever appear to hate the guy, especially not nowadays as they have worked past their differences. And he certainly hasn't tried to murder him! (To be fair, if he had, it would've been spitting on Marco's name...)[break][break]

He's firmly asexual and uninterested in that sort of thing (not repulsed, just totally indifferent), but he wouldn't classify himself as aromantic if truly pressed. With the soldier life, and everything else surrounding him, he's hardly given it any thought whatsoever. Good luck to you if you aim for this, but you must be warned -- Eren is far from suave, in fact, he's about ten times more likely to insult than to flirt with you at any given moment. He's socially awkward when it comes to romance and doesn't have a clue of how to deal with it. Even public displays of affection from other couples disgust him, doubly so if it's out of place, like on the battlefield he's used to.

It might be interesting if Atem ever found out that Mitchell (as Meowth) was a criminal back in his world, even if he doesn't do that stuff anymore. This might be an interesting thing but I just don't know??? |

BUT now that he's here Mitchell is trying to stay on the straight an narrow mainly because there's no boss here that he has to impress or anything like that. hey nerd lets plot Pharaoh Atem and shadow together they both work in omega five so?? and then ofc you have shadow and atem both being introverts. i imagine the two of them would get along. i can see them having tea together discussing a guy that they had to work to interrogate and made cry or smth no but seriously, i see a good friendship coming out of their interactions! and given that they work together, shadow would naturally be more comfortable around him than your average joe off the street. |

But heeeeeey there, Jake ! Pleasure to meet you and your guy. Yes, I admit that this is sort of a weird combination only because Eren Jäger is very serious and Dipper is himself (whatever that means). I'll be frank, my kid will probably just be like, "Roll with the punches. They're all weird." I will make note of the fact that his ghost tour/walk is free because he's trying to get his gig off the ground. It's also insane levels of corny, at least when the stories are not sad and about dead people trapped eternally in their basement after a horrible fire. What I am thinking, if you are interested in sending Eren on a ghost walk, is that they do in fact encounter many ghosts—but all the supernatural stuff only happens to Dipper while Eren isn't looking, so we can play up the: "HEY MAN, HOW ARE YOU NOT SEEING THIS." "I've seen everything, more than you can imagine." "THAT ISN'T WHAT I MEANT. I MEANT THE CHAIR THAT KNOCKED ME OVER." "Aren't you just clumsy." "IT FLEW SIX FEET."
(. . . and yes, he is clumsy, but that's not Dipper's point.) When I write ghosts, I like to have one guy experience everything haunted and the other guy juuuust miss it, and I'll probably up the ridiculousness for kicks as the walk goes on. I think, as you've said, it could be hilarious to watch play out. And they can run around at night in haunted graveyards. I mean, that's exciting, right? Teenage kids being nuisances in graveyards is all part of the youth culture experience! If you've got any other ideas though, feel free to toss them at me.
Finally: Dipper would probably leave liking him because he loves this kind of thing and Eren seems relatively chill in the face of danger. which dipper is. not. Unfortunately Eren hails from a crapsack world so that's a bit of a downer, even if Dipper might try to be more friendly. On the other hand, he's more the ask-no-questions type so if Eren never talks about it, then the subject is unlikely to come up. Thus! They might be able to have something akin to a normal( ?) conversation at least—you know, Eren, that thing where two people exchange a series of words. We'll see how it goes from there, maybe? Does this all sound cool with you? Any additions?
P.S. I would, however, appreciate poking a bit of fun at the fact Eren picked a waiter job to reduce stress, because Dipper would deadpan, "Uh, buddy, there's this huge hole in your logic that—sorry about the bad news—you already fell into." So perhaps they can talk job!angst too. (That is the very definition of a stressful job!)
